The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs will hold a public hearing to
receive public comments on proposed changes to the Occupational Code Renewals
rule set.
The proposed rules add definitions for terms used in the rules; add barber student instructor
licenses to the annual renewals rule and change the renewal date to the initial licensure date;
change cosmetology establishment and school renewals from an annual to a biennial license
renewal and amend the renewal date to the initial licensure date; change real estate licenses from
annual renewals to triennial license renewals; alphabetize the biennial renewal licensed
professions; remove licenses no longer issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory
Affairs; move residential builders and maintenance and alteration contractors from biennial
renewals to triennial license renewals; amend the renewal date for barbers, barber
establishments and schools to the initial licensure date; and establish a rule pertaining to
triennial license renewals for real estate brokers and salespersons and residential builders and
maintenance and alteration contractors.

445.2030. These rules will take effect Immediately after filing with the Secretary of State. The

mail until 5/22/2020 at 05:00PM.
