Board of Speech-Language Pathology met on August 3, 2021, at the Ottawa Building,  
Conference Room 4, 611 West Ottawa Street, Lansing, Michigan 48933.

Rules Discussion  
MacIntosh informed the Board that there had been a statutory amendment to the Public  
Health Code that required the board to decide whether changes are necessary to the  
licensure by endorsement rule.  
MOTION by Farhad, seconded by Mayerhoff, to open the rule set.  
Discussion was held.

Department Update  
MacIntosh announced that the Department will hold a new Board member training in  
January. The Department will be sending an e-mail with the date. All members are  
welcome to attend.  
MacIntosh informed the Board that the Implicit Bias Training administrative rule has been  
promulgated as of June 1, 2021, under the Public Health Code – General Rules.

The next regularly scheduled meeting is October 6, 2021, at 9:00. a.m. at the Ottawa  
Building, 611 West Ottawa Street, Upper-Level Conference Center (UL), Conference
