Chair Report
Yeas: Baker, Dodge, Fedele, Warren, Myers, Hollandsworth
Nays: None
Hollandsworth stated that he and Platz attended the Central and Southern Zone meeting
in May 2022. A big topic of discussion was the changing Surveyors Principles and
Practice of Surveying Examination into five modules, which will be more easily recognized
across states. The hope is that this will help in streamlining the reciprocity licensure
process, however, there are remaining questions and concerns about the content and
format of the examination.
Hollandsworth presented a Resolution to Sharmay Wood, honoring her for the time that
she served on the Michigan Board of Professional Surveyors.
Department Update
MacIntosh stated that the Bureau will hold the next Board Member Training on August
16, 2022, via Zoom. All Board members are welcome to attend.
