Board of Chiropractic met on May 26, 2022, at 611 West Ottawa Street, Upper-Level  
Conference Room 4, Lansing, Michigan 48933.  
CALL TO ORDER

MOTION by Peake, seconded by Connelly, to approve the February 24, 2022, meeting  
minutes as presented.

MIDC – BPL Implementation  
Brian DeBano presented a new software program titled CE Broker. DeBano  
informed the board that this was a way for licensees to simplify the tracking of  
continuing education.  
Affiliated Monitors Presentation – Jim Anliot  
James R. Anliot, Director of Healthcare Compliance Services, Affiliated Monitors, Inc.  
(AMI) gave an overview of the services that AMI supports for regulatory matters.

MOTION by Connelly, seconded by Thornton, to accept the recommendations made  
by the Continuing Education Committee. (Addendum 1).

Elceser thanked the board for their work.  
Department Update  
MacIntosh announced that Amy Gumbrecht has been named the Director of the Bureau  
of Professional Licensing.

MacIntosh announced that the Department will hold a new board member training on  
August 15, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. via Zoom. All members are welcome to attend.  
MacIntosh reminded the board members to check their state e-mail address regularly.  
PUBLIC COMMENT  
Kristine Dowell of the Michigan Association of Chiropractor’s expressed concern with the  
rule process.  
Martin Brown, D.C., stated that he has utilized CE Broker and recommended it to the  
board.  
ANNOUNCEMENTS  
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held August 25, at 10:00 a.m. at 611 West  
Ottawa Street, Upper-Level Conference Room 4, Lansing, Michigan.  
ADJOURNMENT  
MOTION by Odette, seconded by Peake, to adjourn the meeting at 11:34 a.m.  
A voice vote was held.
