In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, 1976 PA 267, as amended, the Michigan  
Board of Occupational Therapists met on August 10, 2021, at 611 West Ottawa  
Street, Upper-Level Conference Room 4, Lansing, Michigan 48933.  
CALL TO ORDER

Department Update  
Ditschman announced that the Department will provide another Board member Training in  
January. All members are welcome to attend.  
Payne reminded board members of the importance of checking their state emails.

PUBLIC COMMENT  
Bethany Burge, from MIOTA addressed the Board and requested clarification regarding  
the MOTEC Conference and why attendance was not accepted by the Department  
towards continuing education.  
ANNOUNCEMENTS  
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held November 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the  
Ottawa Building, 611 W. Ottawa Street, Conference Room 4, Upper-Level Conference  
Center, Lansing, Michigan.
