NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The hearing is held to receive public comments on the following administrative rules:
Public Health Code—General Rules (MOAHR #2022-17 LR)
Authority: MCL 333.16145, MCL 333.16194, MCL 333.16201, MCL 333.16221(e)(iv)(B), and Executive Reorganization Order Nos. 1991-9, 1996-
2, 2003-1, and 2011-4, MCL 338.3501, MCL 445.2001, MCL 445.2011, and MCL 445.2030.
Overview: The proposed rules will update the definitions rule, provide for triennial license renewal for genetic counselors, and clarify which
applicants must complete implicit bias training and how the training requirement may be satisfied.
Respiratory Care—General Rules (MOAHR #2021-96 LR)
Authority: MCL 333.16145, 333.16148, 333.16174, 333.16201, 333.16287, and 333.18709, and Executive Reorganization Order Nos. 1991-9,
1996-2, 2003-1, and 2011-4, MCL 338.3501, 445.2001, 445.2011, and 445.2030.
Overview: The proposed rules will eliminate definitions that are already provided in the Public Health Code, clarify the training standards for
identifying victims of human trafficking, clarify the requirements for licensure by endorsement and relicensure and require that the applicant have
resolved any disciplinary action taken against him or her before being licensed by endorsement or relicensed, and update accreditation standards.
The rules will take effect immediately upon filing with the Secretary of State, unless specified otherwise in the rules. Comments on the proposed
rules may be presented in person at the public hearing. Written comments will also be accepted from date of publication until 5:00 p.m. on July
