NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The public hearing will be held virtually via Zoom.  
The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs will hold a public hearing to receive public  
comments on proposed changes to the Landscape Architects -- General Rules rule set.  
The proposed rules provide definitions for terms used in the rule set identify the approved educational  
programs and examination required for licensure; establish the requirements for initial licensure,  
licensure by endorsement, and relicensure; establish the continuing education requirements for license  
renewal; identify approved continuing education providers and activities; establish sanctions for failure to  
comply with continuing education requirements; and update the requirements for a licensee’s seal.  
MCL 339.205, 339.2203, and 339.2205, as well as Executive Reorganization Order Nos. 1991-9, 1996-  
2, 2003-1, 2007-17, and 2011-4, MCL 338.3501, 445.2001, 445.2011, 445.2023, and 445.2030. These  
rules will take effect Immediately after filing with the Secretary of State. The rules are published on the
