The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs will hold a public hearing to receive public  
comments on proposed changes to the Acupuncture - General Rules rule set.  
The proposed rules amend definitions; add a telehealth rule; approve and adopt the national standards  
of competence set forth by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine  
(NCCAOM); provide the requirements for licensure, limited licensure, licensure by endorsement, and  
relicensure; provide the requirements for continuing education; and approve continuing education  
programs and activities approved by the NCCAOM.

MCL 333.16205, MCL 333.16287, MCL 333.16515, MCL 333.16517, and MCL 333.16525 and Executive  
Reorganization Order Nos. 1991-9, 1996-2, 2003-1, and 2011-4, MCL 338.3501, 445.2001, 445.2011,  
and 445.2030. These rules will take effect Immediately after filing with the Secretary of State. The rules
