The Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity will hold a public hearing to receive public
comments on proposed changes to the State Housing Development Authority – General Rules rule set.
The proposed rule set will be updated provide clarity and update terminology to modern industry
standards. Three new rule provisions are proposed: definitions, statutory construction, and administrative
appeal deadlines.
By authority conferred on the Michigan State Housing Development Authority by MCL 125.1422(o) of the
State Housing Development Authority Act of 1966.
The proposed rules will take effect immediately after filing with the Secretary of State. The proposed
issue of the Michigan Register. Copies of these proposed rules may also be obtained by mail or
