The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs will hold a public hearing to receive public  
comments on proposed changes to the Nursing Home Administrators—General Rules rule set.  
The proposed rules add and clarify definitions, amend and clarify requirements for licensure and  
continuing education requirement, clarify that a licensee who completes implicit bias training under R  
338.7004 may also use that training toward fulfillment of continuing education requirements, remove the  
application for board approval of a continuing education course, and rescind and relocate the content of  
some rules to comply with current drafting standards and to provide better organization.  
By authority conferred on the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs by MCL 333.16145,  
333.16148, 333.16178, 333.16287, and 333.17309 and Executive Reorganization Order Nos. 1991-9,  
1996-2, 2003-1, and 2011-4, MCL 338.3501, 445.2001, 445.2011, and 445.2030.  
The proposed rules will take effect immediately after filing with the Secretary of State. The proposed  
issue of the Michigan Register. Copies of these proposed rules may also be obtained by mail or

Comments on these proposed rules may be made at the hearing, by mail, or by electronic mail at the
