7. Describe the general purpose of these rules, including any problems the changes are intended  
to address.  
The Marriage and Family Therapy – General Rules pertain to definitions, training, licensure,  
examinations, and educational standards for marriage and family therapists.  
Amendment of the rules will take place to supply clarity on definitions, human trafficking  
training, licensure, examinations, educational standards, and telehealth for marriage and family  
therapists.
