Kerry Przybylo, I'm the manager with the Bureau of

Professional Licensing in the Department of Licensing and

Regulatory Affairs, and I will be conducting the hearing

today.

This is a public hearing on proposed

administrative rules entitled "Athletic Training -

General Rules" and "Social Work - General Rules". We are

conducting this hearing under the authority of the

Administrative Procedures Act, Public Act 306 of 1969 on

behalf of the Department of Licensing and Regulatory

Affairs, Bureau of Professional Licensing.

We are calling this hearing to order at

9:00 a.m. on January 28, 2022, at the Ottawa Building,

611 West Ottawa Street, Conference Room UL 4, in Lansing,

Michigan. Publication of the notice of public hearing

was in three newspapers of general circulation. The

public notice for the Athletic Training - General Rules

was published in the Grand Rapids Press and the Flint

Journal on January 2, 2022, and in the Mining Journal on

January 7, 2022, as well as in the Michigan Register,

Issue #23-2021, published on January 1, 2022. The public

notice for the Social Work - General Rules was published

in three newspapers of general circulation -- pardon me.

Rules was published in the Grand Rapids Press and in the

Flint Journal on January 9, 2022, and in the Mining

Journal on January 7, 2022, as well as in the Michigan

Register, Issue #24-2021, published on January 15, 2022.

the proposed rules. If you wish to speak, please make

sure you have signed in and indicated that you wish to
