on the record before the Michigan Public Service  
Commission, Docket No. U-21768, In the matter, on the  
Commission's own motion, to commence a rulemaking  
proceeding to amend the Uniform System of Accounts for  
Major and Non-Major Electric Utilities in accordance with  
the Michigan Admin Code R 460.9002 and R 460.9003. For  
the record, my name is Christopher Saunders, I'm an  
Administrative Law Judge with the Michigan Office of  
Administrative Hearings and Rules, and I have been  
assigned to be the presiding officer in this matter.  
Today is September 3 of 2024, and this is the date and  
time designated by the Commission in its July 23, 2024,  
order to hold a public hearing regarding the adoption of  
the rules governing the Uniform System of Accounts for  
Major and Non-Major Electric Utilities.
