·4· ·a public hearing on proposed administrative rules
·5· ·entitled Ski Area Safety General Rules.· This
·6· ·hearing is being conducted by the Michigan
·7· ·Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs
·8· ·pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan
·9· ·Administrative Procedures Act, 1969, PA 306;
10· ·Section 4 of 1972 PA 230; MCL 125.1504; and
11· ·Executive Reorganization Order numbers 1991-9,
12· ·1996-2, 2003-1, 2008-4, 2011-4, and 2024-2; MCL
13· ·338.3501, 445.2001, 445.2011, 445.2025, 445.2030,
14· ·and 16.735.
15· · · · · · ·The purpose of this hearing is to gain
16· ·public input on the proposed revisions to the Ski
17· ·Area Safety General Rules.· All comments will be
18· ·recorded and become part of the record.· The
19· ·department then reviews all testimony before making
20· ·a final decision on the content of the rules.· This
21· ·hearing is being called to order at 1:03 today,
22· ·November 13th, 2025, at the offices of the Bureau
23· ·of Construction Codes, 630 West Ottawa Street,
24· ·Lansing, Michigan, in the Upper Level Conference
